Youths Laud Governor Soludo for Transformative 1Youth2Skills Initiative

Trainees under the 1Youth2Skills initiative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo have commended the Anambra State Government for providing life-changing opportunities through the skill acquisition program.

The commendation came as the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, continued his monitoring and evaluation tour of Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) centers across the 21 local government areas of the state. The latest inspection covered five centers in Onitsha North, Idemili North, and Idemili South council areas.

Speaking during the tour, Mr. Aghamba disclosed that the 2024/2025 Stream A batch would conclude its training, while Stream B, which targets 20,000 youths, is set to commence on Friday, March 7, 2025, for a six-month duration. He noted that Stream A participants were trained in 33 different courses and received entrepreneurship coaching from UNIZIK Business School and other EDIs.

Some of the beneficiaries, including Bonlanle Mustapha from Osogbo, Nkemakonam Ibegbu from Umuase village in Onitsha, and Emmanuel Ogbu from Enugu Ezike, expressed gratitude to Governor Soludo for his commitment to youth empowerment and pledged their continued support.
