Idemili South Records First Harvest as Farmers’ Market Nears Completion

Date:

The Idemili South Local Government Area has marked a significant milestone with the first harvest from its Healthy Living Garden initiative. The development comes as preparations for the launch of a Farmers’ Market in the area near completion.

Commending the dedication and hard work of the local government leadership, stakeholders expressed satisfaction with the progress of the initiative, which aims to encourage organic farming and household food production across Anambra State.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to address rising food prices, promote self-sufficiency, and encourage healthy consumption. With Idemili South setting the pace, expectations are high for similar successes in other local government areas that have adopted the program.
