Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, has responded to those pressuring her to get married, questioning why she is being considered old at 32.
Taking to her X handle on Tuesday, DJ Cuppy expressed surprise at being labeled as aging, asking what that would mean for people in their 40s.
“I am 32 years old, and some of you people are calling me old. If that is the case, what are we calling people in their 40s? Prehistoric? Fossilized? Museum exhibits? Nawa,” she wrote.
Her singleness has been a frequent topic of discussion among netizens, including some of her fans, who often question or tease her about not being married yet.
In February, DJ Cuppy declared that Valentine’s Day in 2025 would be her last as a single woman.
She had also previously shared that her ideal partner would be a banker and at least six feet tall.
Her last known relationship was with British boxer Ryan Taylor, to whom she got engaged in November 2022. However, the engagement ended in July 2023, just seven months later.
