Rwanda Coach Unveils 28-Man Squad for World Cup Qualifiers Against Nigeria and Lesotho

Rwanda’s head coach, Adel Amrouche, has announced a 28-man provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Lesotho.

Key players in the squad include Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, Sabail FK forward Innocent Nsuthi, and Al Ahli Tripoli midfielder Bizmana Djihad. Other notable names are Mugisha Bonheur, Jojea Kwizera, Steve Rubanguka, and Hakim Sahabo.

Amrouche will reduce the squad to 23 players before the matches. The Amavubi will gather in Kigali on Sunday to begin preparations.

Rwanda will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21, before clashing with Lesotho’s Crocodiles at the same venue four days later.
