Governor Chukwuma Soludo has been recognized with a Leadership Excellence Award by the Catholic Laity Council of Awka Diocese for his contributions to the development of Anambra State.
The award was presented during a ceremony at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Agulu, as part of the Catholic Laity Council Week, which commenced with a holy Mass officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor.
President of the Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria, Awka Diocese, Hon. Sir Joseph Igwebuike, commended Governor Soludo for his governance, stating that the council appreciates his efforts and will continue to support him.
Governor Soludo attended the event alongside the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Sly Ezeokenwa, and other dignitaries.
The endorsement from the Catholic Laity Council further strengthens the governor’s administration, reflecting the group’s confidence in his leadership.
