Emzor Reaffirms Commitment to Sports Development in Nigeria

Date:

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited has reiterated its dedication to sports development in Nigeria, emphasizing its support for young talents and local athletes.

Speaking during a media brand immersion and facility tour at Emzor’s $23 million Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients manufacturing plant in Sagamu, Ogun State, the company’s management, led by Group Managing Director and Founder Dr. Stella Okoli, highlighted its long-standing partnership with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Emzor’s Head of Marketing and Strategy, Kunle Faloye, described the collaboration as a strategic effort to nurture football talent while promoting wellness. He noted that Emzor’s role has evolved beyond sponsorship to being the official wellness company for Nigeria’s national football teams.

The company has supported Nigerian football since 2014, backing both the Super Eagles and the Super Falcons. Emzor has also been involved in grassroots initiatives, including the Asisat Oshoala Football Competition for Girls, which supports young female footballers.

Faloye further stated that while Emzor offers products aiding athlete recovery, it has yet to expand into sports nutrition.
