Katsina Governor Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Development Through Sports

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment through sports, particularly football.

Speaking at the Government House in Katsina while receiving Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Ibrahim Musa Gusau on a condolence visit, Radda emphasized that sports development is a key part of his agenda.

He highlighted the progress made by the state’s football academy, noting that many young players are undergoing trials with foreign clubs and participating in global tournaments.

“This is a long-term investment, and we are committed to producing stars who will represent Nigeria at the World Cup,” Radda stated.

NFF President Gusau commended the governor’s efforts in sports development and assured him of continued support in enhancing football in the state.
