“You Can’t Mess With An Alpha Woman”- Charly Boy Cheers Natasha Akpoti Return

Date:

Renowned entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has expressed his support for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as she resumed her role at the National Assembly following a six-month absence.

According to Naija News, the Kogi Central lawmaker returned on Tuesday after being suspended over alleged misconduct. Her office was officially reopened by Alabi Adedeji, the Deputy Director of the National Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms, signaling her full return to legislative duties.

Charly Boy took to Instagram to celebrate the senator’s comeback, commending her determination amid political obstacles.

On X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “Una don hear say Senator Natasha don enter National Assembly? You can’t mess with an Alpha woman like dat. It seems like they have exhausted their lies; the only available option is to unseal or face international sanctions. Akpabio, be careful next time, no be all women be ntanta.”

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended in March after a dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. She had previously accused him of sexual harassment, an allegation he denied. However, reports suggest her suspension was related to other issues beyond the harassment claim.

Upon her return, the senator remained firm in her position, stating she had no regrets and refused to issue an apology regarding the matter.
