British media personality Piers Morgan has sparked widespread conversation online after he unexpectedly tweeted in the Igbo language while publicly responding to American rapper Nicki Minaj regarding her comments on the recent killings of Christians in Nigeria.

Morgan’s post, which quickly went viral, was a direct quote response to Minaj’s earlier tweet and appeared to be an urgent request for an interview on the serious issue.

Morgan tweeted:

“Ọ dị m ezigbo mkpa! Anyị nwere ike ime ajụjụ ọnụ?”

(Translation: “It is very important to me! Can we do an interview?”)

His tweet followed Nicki Minaj’s comment, where she referenced Morgan while discussing the growing violence against Christians and the U.S. involvement:

“And just like that, Piers has been given clearance to fly through Barb Airspace. The power of Nigeria. 🇳🇬 Naija Barbz, keep an eye on him…”
