A social media post has gone viral after a church member publicly shared a disheartening experience, claiming their pastor refused to pay them for work completed, stating their compensation would come from God.
The church member took to a public platform to detail the incident involving their pastor and a house painting job.
According to the post, the church member was asked by their pastor to paint his house. Taking on the task, the member not only performed the labor but also allegedly used their own funds to purchase the materials required.
The church member wrote:
“Pastor asked me to come paint his house, I used my money to buy the paints and painted the house. I went to him for my payment after I was done painting and he told me my reward is in heaven”
