Ex-Friend Calls Out Harrison Gwamnishu Over Five-Year ₦2m Debt

Date:

The ongoing controversy surrounding human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu has intensified as a man claiming to be his former friend publicly called him out over a nearly five-year, ₦2 million debt.

The debt allegation surfaced amid Gwamnishu’s recent arrest on claims of diverting part of a ransom payment, an arrest that controversial commentator VeryDarkMan claimed he orchestrated.

The man, identified by the Facebook handle Shine Onyebiga, demanded repayment but offered Gwamnishu a monthly installment plan.

In the viral post, Onyebiga wrote:

“If Harrison Gwamnishu asks to pay 100k monthly till he completes my 2m, I will accept it. But he must pay, not threatening or boasting to be invisible. We must stand against injustice no matter whose involved.”

Onyebiga insisted the debt must be settled and dismissed any personal animosity, stating: “He used to be my friend and I have nothing against him. Matter of fact I wish him well. But as for my money he must pay it.”

He also used the opportunity to address Gwamnishu’s supporters with a sharp warning:

“As for his gullible followers I have one word for you; IF E REACH YOUR TURN FORGET YOUR MONEY WITH YOUR DEBTORS.”
