Following the graduation of Danielle, the daughter of Nollywood stars Yul and May Edochie, from Pan-Atlantic University, new reports indicate that May Edochie personally funded and supported her daughter’s education throughout university.
May shared photos from Danielle’s graduation on Instagram, expressing the pride and joy of a mother who has been a steadfast support during her daughter’s academic journey.
The images show May smiling proudly beside Danielle, who successfully earned her degree from one of Nigeria’s top private universities, while Yul Edochie, Danielle’s father, was noticeably absent from the celebrations.
Close friends of May took to the comments to applaud her determination.
Priceless Hair wrote: “Celebrating minus one school fees, my dear… One-woman squad! We’ll party soon! You did it, girl.”
Another friend, Rytaddiva, added: “You did it, my Queen, all on your own. I’m so proud of you. You inspire me every day to be a better version of myself. This is just the beginning. Huge congratulations.”
According to reports, May carried the full responsibility of financing Danielle’s university education without support from Yul Edochie.
