Date:

De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF) has unveiled five ultra-modern classroom blocks and expanded its scholarship initiative across the Southeast as part of efforts to enhance educational development.

The projects were inaugurated during the group’s Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held in Okija, Anambra State, from July 1 to July 4, 2026.

Beneficiary schools are spread across Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Enugu, and Anambra States, reflecting a regional approach to development.

The initiative also saw the unveiling of the fourth phase of the secondary school scholarship scheme and the second phase targeting top JAMB performers.

Chairman of the Education Committee, Chief Chikezie Okonkwo, said the programme has continued to record positive outcomes since its launch in 2025.

He added that the scheme currently supports 250 secondary school students and 25 high-performing JAMB candidates annually.

Observers noted that the intervention aligns with broader efforts to strengthen human capital development in the region.
