Actress Wumi Toriola And Toyin Abraham End 7-Year Feud, Reunite In Lagos

Date:

Nigerian actresses Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi and Wumi Toriola have finally put an end to their seven-year-long public feud.

The reconciliation took place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at a cinema in Ikeja, Lagos, where both stars were promoting their latest projects. Toyin was there for her film Oversabi Aunty, while Wumi was promoting Behind the Scenes, produced by Funke Akindele.

A video that quickly went viral on social media captured the heartwarming moment. Wumi expressed, “I miss you,” playfully asking Toyin to swear if she didn’t feel the same. Toyin responded, “I miss you too,” as the two embraced.

According to GistLover, the actresses were once close friends but fell out after a series of online disagreements that divided fans.

The conflict reportedly began in 2017 during the shooting of Alakada Reloaded, when Wumi accused Toyin of slapping her in their hotel room and warned her never to do so again. The tension escalated in 2018 when Wumi publicly accused Toyin of faking her engagement.

In 2023, Wumi also addressed rumors about a supposed secret relationship with Toyin’s husband, firmly responding to the claims.

“My attention was drawn to a devilish story that I slept with a colleague’s husband. Not only is it false, but it is also wicked, evil, and aimed to tarnish my reputation.”
