Anambra State House of Assembly has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his recognition as The Sun Newspaper Governor of the Year 2024.
The commendation followed a motion sponsored by Chief Tony Muobike, representing Aguata Constituency Two, during the plenary session.
Chief Muobike highlighted the governor’s contributions to infrastructure, economy, education, human capital development, and social welfare within the last three years.
In their remarks, Majority Leader Honourable Ikenna Ofodeme, Barrister Obi Nweke of Anambra East Constituency, and Honourable Anayo Okpaleke of Aguata Constituency One praised the governor for surpassing expectations.
Speaker of the House, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, described the award as well-deserved, acknowledging the governor’s strides in turning visions into reality.
