Anambra Youth Groups Back Soludo for Second Term, Donate N10.5 Million

Thousands of youths in Anambra State have rallied in support of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election bid, donating ten point five million naira as a show of commitment to his administration.

The solidarity event, held at the International Convention Centre in Awka, was organized by the Anambra chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ohanézè Youth Wing Anambra, and the Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Youth. With the theme “Clarion Call for Continuity,” the rally aimed to urge the governor to seek a second term.

Leaders of the youth groups, including Dr. Tochukwu Obiadi, Emeka Obi, and Ken Okoli, reaffirmed their support for Soludo, describing him as the most youth-friendly governor in the state’s history. They pledged to continue backing his administration.

In response, Governor Soludo expressed gratitude for the support, stating that it strengthened his resolve to push forward with his administration’s agenda. He praised Anambra youths as intelligent and hardworking, emphasizing that his government has provided numerous opportunities for them.

The governor assured that his administration would continue to prioritize youth inclusion, insisting that giving young people a role in governance would lead to a better society.
