DanJud Technology Launches E-Collection System for Haulage Fees in Anambra

Date:

DanJud Technology, a fast-growing company specializing in technology and haulage systems, has introduced an electronic collection system for haulage fees in Anambra State. The initiative aligns with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s digital strategy and the Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AIRS) efforts to improve revenue collection.

The system, officially launched last week in Awka, aims to enhance efficiency, streamline haulage fee payments, and ensure transparency in revenue generation for the state government.

Speaking at the launch, Engineer Stanley Osadebe, Chief Operating Officer of DanJud Construction and Technology Limited, emphasized the need for modernization in haulage fee collection. He highlighted the role of technology in the transport sector and expressed optimism that the e-collection system would eliminate inefficiencies while promoting accountability.

Stakeholders, including Chief Jude Nwankwo, President of the International Building Materials Market, Ogidi, praised the initiative for preventing double taxation. A haulage truck driver, Isah Azman, commended the system’s convenience, noting that it allows payments to be made quickly via mobile devices, reducing paperwork and minimizing the risk of discrepancies.

DanJud’s adoption of digital transactions reflects the broader shift towards cashless payments, offering improved security and efficiency. The e-collection system also features payment tracking and electronic receipts, enabling users to manage expenses more effectively.
