I haven’t received child support in five years – Sophia Momodu reveals

Date:

Sophia Momodu has issued a statement to address social media narratives regarding her daughter, confirming her role as the child’s primary caregiver for the past five years.

Momodu stated that while the paternal grandparent has covered school fees for three years, she has not received any other child support from the father. She affirmed, “I have not received child support from her father, but our child knows no lack.”

To reaffirm her commitment to the child’s happiness, Momodu announced that she has waived all outstanding child support payments and relinquished future claims. This decision, she noted, makes her solely responsible for the child’s financial needs and was a “welcomed development by both parties.”

Momodu concluded by confirming she has never denied the father access to the child, stating that she prioritizes the child’s safety and structured schedule, and requested that her daughter be excluded from false narratives.
