IGoSave, Blaqbonez Criticize NCC’s Ban on Porn Sites

Date:

Stand-up comedian IGoSave has criticized the House of Representatives’ directive to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to block access to all pornographic websites in the country.

IGoSave expressed concern that the ban would negatively impact many Nigerians and proposed staging protests in support of those affected.

In a post on his Instagram story, he wrote, “This porn site ban go affect many Nigerians o! Should we help dem protest? Cos they are true Nigerians too.”

Similarly, rapper Blaqbonez condemned the move, describing it as a misplaced priority. He argued that adult content provides relief for citizens during difficult times.

The directive has sparked mixed reactions across social media, with some supporting the decision and others questioning its relevance amid more pressing national issues.
