“I’m the Number one”- Governor Fubara Declares Himself Rivers APC Leader

Date:

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made a bold declaration, asserting himself as the new leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, just days after officially defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking on his new political status, the Governor emphasized his seniority in the state chapter of the party:

“I’m not just a member of the APC. I’m the Number one in Rivers State.”

He also backed his claim by revealing his membership registration details:

“I’ve collected my registration card, and it reads ‘0001”

Governor Fubara’s declaration comes amid the ongoing political turbulence in Rivers State, which saw him cross over to the ruling APC earlier this week.
