Kate Henshaw hails Senator Natasha Akpoti amid clash with Akpabio

Date:

Veteran actress Kate Henshaw has praised Senator Natasha Akpoti for her courage amid her ongoing dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The clash began on February 20, 2025, during a plenary session over seating arrangements, which led to the Senate referring Akpoti to its Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions for disorderly conduct.

Akpoti later accused Akpabio of sexual harassment, submitting a petition against him on March 5, 2025.

Reacting on Instagram, Henshaw commended Akpoti for standing up against societal pressure, describing her as a “Woman Crush Wednesday” and a symbol of strength for women.

The actress emphasized the resilience of women in society, urging them not to be silenced by outdated narratives.
