Mohbad’s Father Claims Infidelity, Insists on DNA for Liam

Date:

The controversy surrounding the death of Nigerian artist Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Aloba) has intensified, with his father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, publicly alleging that his son refused to marry his partner, Wunmi, due to infidelity. Mr. Aloba continues to press for a DNA test for his grandson, Liam.

In a recent video, Mr. Aloba stated that the relationship was only formalized with an introduction ceremony because Wunmi was pregnant, but insisted that a formal traditional marriage never took place.

Paternity and Marriage Claims
Addressing the public, Mr. Aloba reiterated his demand for a paternity test for the child, while simultaneously questioning the legitimacy of Wunmi’s marital status.

Mohbad’s father claimed:

“My son refused to marry Wunmi because she was cheating on him. We only did introduction because she was pregnant. Ask her if we paid her bride price.”

He maintained that the introduction was a necessity to acknowledge the pending birth of the child but was not intended to finalize the marriage, which was allegedly stalled by Wunmi’s alleged infidelity.

Mr. Aloba has consistently demanded a DNA test for Liam since his son’s death, arguing that it is necessary to determine the rightful heir to Mohbad’s estate and to conclusively address lingering questions regarding the child’s paternity.
