Popular Nollywood actress Nkechi Nweje has passed away after a brief illness. She reportedly died on Friday, with her death confirmed on Saturday by movie producer Stanley Ajemba, also known as Stanley Ontop.
Ajemba shared the news on Instagram, expressing shock over her passing. He described Nweje as a vibrant actress and recalled their last conversation.
Nweje, known for her contributions to the Nigerian film industry, is survived by her husband and six children.
