“Our drivers earn more than any graduate”- Dangote Invites NUPENG Drivers

The Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has announced improved incentives for drivers in his company, revealing that they earn up to four times Nigeria’s national minimum wage.

Speaking on the company’s employment initiatives, Dangote stated that his Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) drivers receive better pay than many university graduates. He further disclosed that they also enjoy access to housing loans, which are part of broader efforts to enhance workers’ welfare.

Dangote extended an invitation to unemployed members of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), encouraging them to join his transport workforce to benefit from the competitive pay and welfare packages.

He emphasized that the initiative aligns with his vision to create sustainable job opportunities while improving the living standards of workers.
