A wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has sparked a heated online debate after church officials denied entry to two groomsmen and a female guest.
The incident, which went viral via TikTok user @yankhoboy, highlights the ongoing tension between religious doctrines and modern fashion.
One of the frustrated groomsmen, dressed in a high-end suit, revealed the significant financial investment made for the occasion. ”Looking at us, you would know that we have spent so much. Owning this suit is N185k. After spending so much, we came to this church for our friend’s wedding, we are part of the groomsmen, they asked us to stay outside because of our hair,” he firmly stated.
The video also featured a female guest who was barred from the sanctuary alongside the men. The incident triggered a wave of conflicting opinions in the comment section:
