Senator Tony Nwoye Donates Uniforms and Car to Christian Mothers in Anambra North

Date:

Senator Tony Nwoye has donated 20,000 pieces of Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) and Mary Sumner uniforms to Christian mothers across Anambra North Senatorial District.

The beneficiaries, drawn from Catholic and Anglican denominations, included members of CWO from Onitsha Archdiocese, Aguleri Diocese, Diocese on the Niger, Ogbaru, Niger West, and Mbammili Dioceses of the Anglican Communion.

During the presentation, Senator Nwoye stated that his decision to support the women was based on their vital role in society. He emphasized that the gesture was not politically motivated, urging mothers to continue raising God-fearing children to help curb societal issues such as kidnapping.

Representatives of the Christian mothers, including Mrs. Ngozi Nwanosike (Director, CWO Onitsha Archdiocese), Mrs. Angela Ejike (Secretary, CWO Aguleri Diocese), and Mrs. Uche Igwebuike (Ogbaru Diocese), expressed gratitude to the senator and prayed for him.

In addition to the uniform donation, Senator Nwoye also gifted a Toyota car to Chief Ossy Chinwuba in recognition of his loyalty and support over the years.
