Teen Artist Kanye Okeke Sets Guinness World Record with Largest Artwork

Fourteen-year-old Kanye Okeke, a Nigerian teenager living with autism, has made history by earning a Guinness World Record for creating the largest work of art.

At an event attended by art enthusiasts and promoters, Kanye was officially presented with his certificate, marking a groundbreaking achievement that challenges stereotypes about children with special needs.

His record-breaking masterpiece, measuring twelve thousand, three hundred and eighty-one point zero two one square feet, has captivated experts and art lovers alike, showcasing his extraordinary creativity.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, represented by Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, Don Onyenji, described the milestone as proof of the state’s commitment to youth development regardless of background or status.

The United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, represented by UNICEF Nigeria Country Representative Christian Mundute, emphasized that disability inclusion is crucial to the Sustainable Development Goals, reaffirming the UN’s dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Similarly, Chief of Army Staff, represented by Chief of Defence Civil-Military Relations, Rear Admiral Olusanya Bankole, reiterated the federal government’s commitment to inclusivity.

Kanye’s parents, Tagboo and Silvia, along with educators and supporters, see this achievement as more than just an award—it is a symbol of perseverance, resilience, and the boundless potential of neurodiverse individuals.
