Date:

The Urum Anike community in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State has declared its support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second-term bid, citing his achievements across various sectors.

Speaking on behalf of the community, its President General, Sir Felix Oranye, commended Soludo’s impact in the past three years and called on Ndi Anambra to set aside political differences and re-elect him in the November 8 governorship election to sustain ongoing development.

Oranye highlighted key projects benefiting the community, including the Okpuno-Isuaniocha-Urum-Achalla road, the renovation of the Urum Anike community health centre, and the construction of the Amansea-Ebenebe-Ugbenu-Ugbene-Awba Ofemili road. He expressed optimism that Soludo would complete the already awarded road linking Urum Anike with Isuaniocha, Amanuke, and Ugbene in his second term.

Describing the governor’s leadership as transformative, he praised his efforts in infrastructure, human capital development, youth empowerment, healthcare, and security. He expressed confidence that if given a full eight-year tenure, Soludo’s vision of making Anambra a model state would become a reality.
