APGA Ticket: Soludo Expresses Gratitude to Delegates and Supporters

Date:

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has expressed deep appreciation to the 3,172 delegates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) who voted in support of his re-election bid ahead of the November 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State.

In a statement, Soludo commended the peaceful and orderly conduct of the party’s primary election, describing it as a demonstration of APGA’s strong commitment to democratic ideals. He also acknowledged the presence and role of officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), led by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), for overseeing the process.

Addressing the people of Anambra, Soludo reaffirmed his appreciation for their continued support, emphasizing the close identity between the state and the party. “As I’ve always said, APGA is Anambra, and Anambra is APGA,” he stated.

Looking ahead to the general election, Soludo announced his intention to renominate Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim as his Deputy Governor. He called on party leaders and members to approve the choice as they prepare to build on the administration’s current achievements.

“Thank you, Ndi Anambra, and thank you, APGA family. I will not disappoint you. May Anambra continue to win,” the Governor concluded.
