Evangelist Who Reported Bandit Attack in Nasarawa Reportedly Arrested and Detained

An evangelist identified as Daniel, who recently posted a viral video reporting a bandit attack in Agboda village, Nasarawa State, has reportedly been arrested and detained for the past 12 hours.

The alleged detention was first reported on the social media platform X by a netizen identified as @GeneralSnow_, citing the evangelist’s wife, Elizabeth Ukpo Daniel.

Evangelist Daniel had previously gained attention online after sharing footage of the alleged attack on a church crusade site, sparking public concern over security in the region.

The post from @GeneralSnow_ stated: “Evangelist Daniel Who made a video reporting bandits Attack In Agboda village in Nasarawa State has been arrested and in detention for the past 12 hours according to his wife Elizabeth Ukpo Daniel.”

Details surrounding the alleged arrest remain unclear, and the identity of the arresting authorities or the official reason for his apprehension has not been confirmed.
