Law Firm Issues ₦7 Million Demand Notice to 2baba and Natasha Idibia Over Unpaid Fee

Date:

A legal firm, C.S. Nworgu & Co., has issued a formal demand notice to Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia (popularly known as 2Face) and his wife, Hon. Natasha Idibia over an alleged outstanding professional fee of ₦7 million.

A photo of the alleged letter, dated October 31, 2025, was circulated by the Instagram blogger Cutie_julls. The notice was addressed to the couple at their residence in Guzape, Abuja.

According to the firm, their client, C.E. Nwogbo & Associates, facilitated the couple’s tenancy for a five-bedroom semi-detached duplex in Edwin Clerk Crescent.

The solicitors allege that after securing the two-year property rental, for which the Idibias reportedly paid ₦40 million upfront and agreed to pay another ₦40 million by December 2025, the couple failed to settle the professional fees of ₦7 million charged for facilitating the transaction.

The letter further claimed that a cheque issued by the couple in an attempt to settle the payment was returned unpaid. The firm noted that the outstanding fee represents the livelihood of employees who worked on the transaction.

C.S. Nworgu & Co. is demanding that the couple pay the ₦7 million within seven days, stating that the notice serves as a final request before commencing legal action to recover the amount.
