Naval Outpost Onitsha Enhances Security and Supports Education in Ochuche Community

In a bid to combat crime in the maritime sector and promote economic prosperity, the Naval Outpost Onitsha has distributed free educational materials to pupils of Central Primary School, Ochuche, in Ogbaru Council Area of Anambra State. This initiative aligns with the vision of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and is part of Operation Delta Sanity II, which aims to strengthen civil-military relations and improve security in the South-East Region.

The materials provided included whiteboards, exercise books, math sets, markers, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, and other essential learning aids.

While presenting the items, the Commanding Officer of Naval Outpost Onitsha, Navy Captain Musa Jarma, highlighted the significant improvement in security and the restoration of peace and stability in the area.

Expressing gratitude, the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Veronica Daike, and the President General of Ochuche Community, Mr. Eric Obaze, thanked the Nigerian Navy for supporting the school with much-needed academic materials.
