Residents of Umuokpu village in Awka South Local Government Area have declared their support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term bid, citing his notable achievements within his first three years in office.
The endorsement came following a community-led tour of major projects in the state capital, including the Solution Fun City, Aroma Flyover, and the newly built Anambra State Government House and Lodge.
President General of Umuokpu Awka, Dr. Chukwudi Okeke, told journalists that the projects have elevated the status of Awka, particularly highlighting the Solution Fun City as a future tourist hub capable of attracting millions of visitors and generating significant revenue for the state.
Also speaking, Chief Obiora Mmuo and Lady Beny Anene commended Governor Soludo for introducing free education from primary to secondary school levels, employing over 8,000 teachers, and delivering impressive results in areas such as infrastructure, security, and healthcare.
